A popular skateboard program aimed at middle and high school students, CLU, has shut down its operations after 15 years of providing a safe and positive environment for kids to skate and learn about Christianity. Launched in 1991, the program had set up ramps and obstacles in various locations, including church parking lots and unrented warehouse spaces, until a suitable location could no longer be found. The program ran until 2006, leaving a lasting impact on the community it served.
